RULES


As a member of ~SiberianHuskyClub you are responsible for reading and following all the rules and policies set forth within this club. All members must also abide by DeviantART rules. If it is not permitted by DeviantART standards, it's not permitted here!


A violation of any of the rules will result in ONE (1) warning. After your one warning your membership can and will be revoked, you will be banned from the club and any submissions will be removed. I know it sounds harsh but, really, the rules are simple...be nice and don't steal.


Certain activity will result in an immediate ban from the club. Such activities include, but are not limited to, ART THEFT, inappropriate or abusive behavior towards me or other members, inappropriate or offensive submissions. The rules regarding submissions can be found here...Submitting Art.


As the Alpha (i.e. leader) I reserve the right to grant or revoke membership, club affiliation or submissions at my discretion.

Please be nice to your fellow members! If you have an issue with another member please note me immediately. DO NOT handle the situation yourself. If you notice a fellow member has violated any rules please NOTE me with any information. I appreciate any member pointing me in the right direction but, after that, let me take care of it. Okay?


DO NOT the art posted in this club!! Please the artist. A link is provided in the club submission to the original art. This club is not here for s. It's here as a collective showcase of Siberian Husky art. Be kind, and your fellow members.


Please understand that your activities as members of this club can have a negative effect for the club. In other words, if you submit something that is art theft or a violation of dA policy, this club could be banned! I am held responsible for any and all activity on this club. I rely greatly on the honesty of my members. DeviantART does not provide any special treatment, favors, rules or policies for clubs. Each and every account is treated the same and held to exactly the same rules.


RULES FOR JOINING


This will pretty much repeat of Joining. But I want all the rules listed in one place for quick reference. So, yes...I know I'm repeating myself...deal with it.


You do not have to own a Husky to be a part of this club. Everyone is welcome! If you wish to join, you need to note the club.

RULES FOR SUBMITTING ART


Again, this will repeat of Submitting Art. But I endeavor to be organized...we will see how well that works.


Any art submitted must pertain to Siberian Huskies. It can be traditional or digital art, line art, photographs, poems, stories...anything to do with Huskies!


Fan art is welcome so long as you credit the original and provide proof of the original artist's permission to me prior to submitting the fan art. You could have the artist note me directly.


Submitted art MUST be your own work! ABSOLUTELY NO ART THEFT IS ALLOWED. Anyone found guilty of art theft will be immediately banned from the club and the art in question will be removed (not to mention reported too!).
Please read FAQ #8: What does deviantART consider to be Art Theft?

The art can not contain sexual, excessive graphically violent, or other alarming content. I reserve the right to approve or deny submitted art to the club. This club is dedicated to uniting deviants of all ages. So please keep the submissions age appropriate. Thank you!


All submissions must abide by DeviantART rules. If it's not allowed on dA then it's not allowed on this club. I'm hoping you read the rules when you signed up or know where to find them. If you need me to link any of the rules and policies to you, please note me.


CONTEST RULES


You must be a member to submit any art. Joining is easy...Join now! Don't worry, I won't bite!


When submitting art for a contest please put "CONTEST" in the subject so I know what it is you are sending me.


The art MUST be your own work. Again, ABSOLUTELY NO ART THEFT! Not documenting a source is one thing, out right art theft is another. Please credit your sources and have permission, if needed. Also review Submitting Art.


Art submitted for a contest must be in your gallery, not in your scraps. If it's not good enough for your gallery, it's not good enough for the contest. Your contest entry should be a well worked piece of art, not a quick doodle.


The contests are held to make people try to create new art inspired by the contest theme within the time limit given. Finding art that by coincidence fit the description is not acceptable. I encourage you to to make new art. Photography is an exception to this rule. Getting my dog to do something and getting a picture of that is nearly impossible.


When submitting art, remember to put a direct link in the message. Again, refer to Submitting Art for further information of how to submit art.


The art must follow the guidelines set forth for the contest. The art must meet the subject requirements and the deadline of the contest or it will be rejected. If your entry is rejected, please don't take it personal. I will note you explaining why and you are welcome to resubmit with an appropriate entry so long as the entry meets the deadline.


Any date or time set for a contest will be based off of US Mountain standard time. That is my local time and, seeing how this is my club, that is what I'm going to use. No late entries will be accepted! Any contest will give plenty of time to complete your entry and an exact time frame of when it's due by. If someone needs help converting the date and time to your local time, please let me know.


VOTING RULES


To vote you do not have to be a member but it is preferred. This rule may change as the club progresses...maybe not. I have to think about that.


You CAN NOT vote for yourself. Please DO NOT use an alternative account to vote for yourself. If I find members doing so I will make it so only members can vote. I want to keep this club open to the DeviantART community. So please, don't be selfish and ruin it for everyone else.


Contests are held to encourage an artist to create new and interesting art based on the contest theme. Voting should be based on how closely the entry follows the guidelines, uniqueness, quality...ect. Voting should not be based on such things as friendship (i.e. your friends should vote for what they like, not just your work).


DO NOT advertise and ask for people to vote for you. You CAN, however, make journal entries stating you entered a contest and asking that they vote, just don't say they have to vote for you. If I find journal entries with such comments it will disqualify you from the contest.


To VOTE send a NOTE with the subject of WHO and WHAT you are voting for. Please do not send me a note saying "I vote for...". All entries will be numbered, so please put the number in the subject line. Remember, I'm terribly lazy. The less work I have to do the happier I am...so lets keep me HAPPY!


You can vote only ONCE. You're not allowed to change your mind. Once you send me a note voting for an entry, that's it. No do-overs, or ignore that...You vote has been counted and I'm not changing it. So, like your entries, put some time and thought into vote!
